All Teka kitchen appliances sold in Singapore comply with local safety standards and regulations to ensure safe use at home.
Consumer Protection (Safety Requirements) Regulations (CPSR) The CPSR requires 33 categories of household electrical, electronic and gas appliances (known as Controlled Goods) to be tested to specific safety standards, registered with the authorities, and affixed with the SAFETY Mark before they can be sold in Singapore.
Registration is based on Certificates of Conformity (CoC) issued by designated third-party Conformity Assessment Bodies (CABs), or a Supplier’s Declaration of Conformity (SDoC) declared by Registered Suppliers.
Enterprise Singapore (formerly SPRING Singapore) As the national standards and accreditation body, Enterprise Singapore oversees and enforces safety compliance for appliances sold locally. All Teka appliances are approved according to their guidelines to ensure they meet Singapore’s strict safety requirements.
